Collins S. The hunger games

You have most certainly seen the screen adaptation of this popular novel, now we suggest reading it in the original! The scene is set in the post-apocalyptic world, where young people yearly have to participate in the Hunger Games, the reality show fight for survival. Katniss Everdeen, the main character in the novel, volunteered to participate in the Games in place of her younger sister who had been selected to participate by lottery. The Game’s rules are harsh: Katniss will have to kill all other tributes to win the Games and return back to her family.
