On December 19, there will be Speak dating, a marathon of communication, and Cool Contrasts Clubs New Year Fest, the annual final meeting of all language clubs, in the TSU Research Library.

The event will be moderated by Mina Mikhaeil, a bachelor student at TSU Higher IT School, and Ximena Calderon, a librarian at the International Resource Center.

The marathon will start at 18:00 in Reading Room 3, and language clubs meeting at 18:30.

Registration required.

“This year Speak dating participants will talk about gifts in 13 languages,” says Elena Tsukanova, the head of the International Resource Center. “And then they can join the New Year festival of speaking clubs. The program is very diverse: we'll practice the art of origami, sing karaoke in Italian, play board games, dance bachata, break a piñata, and, of course, take photos with Father Frost and Snow Maiden."

Please note that entry to the Research Library requires a pass or a reader card, which can be obtained at the Reader Registration Desk.
